What’s included in our Pitch Heating Service?

Burner

Burner dismantled for service and inspection.
Air damper assembly cleaned,
Inner gas assembly removed, cleaned, and inspected.
Diffuser plate cleaned.
Ignition probe and cable cleaned and inspected
Flame sensor viewing screen cleaned.
Burner fan wheel cleaned and inspected
Combustion gases analysed and optimised both high and low fire
Flame failure simulated proving burner lockout.
Air pressure failure lockout simulated.
All fixing bolts/pins lubricated.
All Safety controls tested and set accordingly.
Burner flame tube in good condition.
Gas tightness test of gas train carried out (50mb) following removal to open the boiler door, proving the gas train to be gas tight.

Boiler

Boiler door opened and the internal side inspected.
Boiler door ceramic inspected
Cavity between the burner flame tube and boiler door refractory correctly packed with ceramic fibre.
Boiler tube heat retarders removed so that the boiler tubes could be cleaned with rotary tube brushes to optimise boiler efficiency.
Firing chamber cleaned to optimise boiler efficiency.
Boiler tube front plate cleaned to optimise boiler efficiency.
Boiler door seal replaced.
Rear boiler firebox inspection plate removed, and all scale/debris removed.
Rear firebox ladder tape condition?
Boiler High/Low thermostat tested and set to required temperature.
Boiler control thermostat tested and set to required temperature.
